An article was released in Technology Review today that presents “the” map of the Internet. It’s atomically oriented: the dense center consists of a small set of network nodes that are the core of the Internet, and the outer rings are lesser networks and nodes. While the article is technical and makes some interesting claims about optimal network topologies and better routing methodologies, I thought I’d just share my geek love for the picture itself – click it and enjoy!
