But the best firefly show was when Larry and I were camping along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina a couple of years ago. There were thousands of fireflies and kind of flickered in patterns. It was so cool. And there were warnings about bears and I swear I heard one... I’ve seen fireflies all my life…they’re even in Brooklyn! I've only gotten to see them once, when I was back in Pennsylvania for a wedding one summer. They are so neat! It was even worth getting goose poop all over my shoes in order to go running after them. :-) Have a great time in Orange County! Ooh, fireflies!
