Allegra and I rapidly read the last Harry Potter this past weekend – once it arrived Saturday around 2pm, I continued to give Allegra the evil eye and saying things like “Done yet?!?” until she finished the book after reading all day Saturday and a bit Sunday morning. Of course, I started in right away, but we had my company picnic to attend Sunday afternoon/evening. Once we returned, I continued reading until 4:30am. Monday. That probably wasn’t smart – I’ve been struggling with being tired this week until today (yeah!). So, quick review: it was great!
So now that many “normal/non-obsessed” people are finishing the final Harry Potter – I thought it would be appropriate to send out this interview with JK Rowling that contains her thoughts on a more detailed epilogue to the series. Major spoilers in the interview, so don’t read it if you haven’t finished the book yet!!!

I must say, I have never read a book under such pressure. Perhaps Matt would make a good lit professor.
On the other hand, I was released from chores for about 24 hours. Which, needless to say, was nice.
