I have been waiting and waiting for the tree in front of our house to bloom, but all trees on our street remain stubbornly dead, even during cherry blossom week. Instead, I present you with another wonder of nature from ajmatt blog’s postage stamp back yard: the resting squirrel. What I really love is an intelligent internet quiz, like this one from Pew Internet & American Life on Internet “typology” called Where Do You Fit? I took an older version of this quiz about a year ago, but by the time this blog started it was old [...] Happy belated National Grammar Day! In celebration, I spent some time with The Chicago Manual of Style. I was surprised to learn that “Jr.” and “Inc.” no longer require commas; if commas are used, you have to put in one on either side.
