Eva is almost 15 pounds and 25 inches long – that’s more than a six pound and four inch gain since she was born, and puts her in the 97th percentile for height and weight. As a result, I just ordered a new wardrobe of 6-12 month clothing. How old is she again? Oh right – 11 weeks.
We’ve had a great month, full of visitors and visits to friends and family.
Eva is finally starting to sleep in some new places.
She has started to grasp things, though usually by accident.
We’re logging miles every day, thanks to the new jogging stroller, which handles the cracked and mysteriously ending sidewalks in our neighborhood like a dream. I took this picture because the stroller looks like a Hummer with Eva in it, and some day I’ll be amazed she fit in the top half.

Eva loves to talk, and converses with anyone who will listen – me, Matt, the ceiling fan, or Raggedy Ann and Andy. Every time I try to capture a conversation in motion, she turns and smiles at me.
That closes our July photo gallery. August is off to an early start tomorrow when we head out on Eva’s first road trip.
Wow, she is getting big so fast – and she is such a little cute one! I love how intent she looks in that picture of her with the ball. You can just see her thinking about how she’s holding it and trying to figure out how that all happened. I’m glad you’re posting these pictures!
