Eva’s latest favorite book is The Cat in the Hat. Or as she likes to call it, “Meeeeoooow. Hat-tah.” Apparently love of The Cat is contagious – here I am reading it to Eva, three of her second cousins, and my mother: According to my quick Wikipedia research (forgive me, I’m tired), The Cat [...] November was a great month. I could write ten entries about November and still have more to say. But now it’s snowing and I’m excited about Christmas, so I’ll write just one. You don’t know how unusual that is for this particular group. I’m not sure when I’ll get through the other 413 (!) pictures from our trip to Northern California, as it’s NaNoWriMo time now, but I’ll post a few [...] I’ve been friends with Marissa since fourth grade – that’s twenty years as of right now. I can’t think very hard about that. We got pregnant around the same time – she was three months ahead of me – but since we’re both new moms, we haven’t been able to fly for months, and just [...] Sunday was a great day. Matt spent most of the day reading his school book, but how hard is that when studying looks like this? We spent time with Grandma and Grandpa (my parents) and Uncle Austin. Eva can only hope she inherited these eyes: Eva had a great time meeting her cousins. [...] Four generations of Mootharts with two Louises! We flew out to the LA area Labor Day weekend. It was Eva’s first trip and the first step toward our goal of having a travel baby. I think it went well – Eva hardly cried on the first flight, and didn’t cry at all on our return.
