Eight months is an exciting age. We’re finally getting to milestones that are concrete – not as much wondering, “Is that a laugh or a cough? She can sit! No wait… she can’t. Is it a new tooth or a cold?” Finally Eva has coordination with some intelligence behind it, and we’re starting to see [...] On the off-chance someone out there is having a bad day, I give you a laughing, squealing baby accompanied by her crazy mother: I spend a fair amount of time bouncing up and down in front of Eva in large-scale games of peek-a-boo, and I can tell you it’s quite a workout. Dedicated Eva fans should head [...] I reviewed our September photos on September 28 and thought, “21 photos. That’s a nice number for our September gallery.” I went out the next night and left Matt home alone for two hours. I came home to 41 new photos of Eva, plus a video. Sigh. I still managed to keep our numbers low, though [...] Early Friday evening. Low tide. Not too hot, not too cold, not too windy. 5 humans (counting myself) in sight. |
